Garden Paws Pet Portrait Fundraiser Photo Sessions now OPEN!
For five years we held Spring Me from the Shelter photos for adoptable pups at Animal Friends Alliance (formerly Animal House Rescue and Grooming).
One a Saturday in spring dog fosters would come to Bath Garden Center for photo day. I had fun re-arranging plants in one corner of the greenhouse to create a live foliage backdrop. We dressed pups in luscious fresh flower crowns and collars made lovingly by Ria of Nature’s Grace Design. Each dog enjoyed lots of treat and encouragement during their floral photoshoot.
Then in 2020 Animal House Rescue and Grooming merged with Fort Collins Cat Rescue Spay/Neuter Clinic and we planned Spring Me for March. But with global pandemic we wisely cancelled.
Fast forward to January 2021 and I came up with an idea to re-design Spring Me. I wanted to include cats as well as dogs and choose a calmer, contained environment.
Today I am debuting the newly reimagined Garden Paws Pet Portraits!
We already photographed five adoptable dogs and 5 adoptable cats from Animal Friends Alliance. And now it is YOUR chance to schedule a photo session for your own pets!
Garden Paws will be held on the weekend of May 22nd and May 23rd. Each session will be about 20 minutes for 1-2 pets. I am building in time between sessions for cleaning and for smooth transition to the next family. (Some pets, like my dog, don’t do well around other pets.)
Sessions are $150 and include one digital image per pet and the opportunity to order from my full product line. If you have more than 2 pets please schedule separate sessions.
In 2019 the sessions sold out within about a week so be sure to jump on the chance while you are thinking about it now!
A portion of every session will be donated to Animal Friends Alliance.
