January is a good time to reflect on what worked and didn’t work last year.
Asking: Who am I becoming and who is my business becoming? And how does it affect YOU?
So here we go:
OUT: Confusing or hidden pricing.
IN: Full pricing transparency. Pricing should not be a scavenger hunt. I vow to be even more up-front about the cost of all my offers.
OUT: Calendar ambiguity.
IN: Clearly scheduled events, specials, workshops and blocked dates for the year. My calendar is a bit tighter this year as I travel to the PNW a few times to help my parents. With that in mind I am plotting the entire year now! A full schedule to be posted soon.
OUT: Old clunky website
IN: Sleek, easy, clear website update coming soon!
OUT: Being small and invisible.
IN: Stepping into more leadership, speaking, and community spotlights. Actively looking for groups and events to speak/teach at. Also launching a brand new podcast by April 2026.
OUT: Apologizing
IN: Accepting all my quirks, my multiple passions, and standing in my values. It’s ok to be unique AND I want strive to stay clear and organized in how I show up for you.
OUT: Shame
IN: I want to keep it real without feeling I need to hold myself to a weird made up standard of “normal”. I’ve been divorced. Twice. I grew up super poor. I feel gangly in sporty pursuits. I have hot flashes. It’s ok for me and it’s ok for you!
OUT: Doing it all myself
IN: Nothing is accomplished in a bubble. Surrounding myself with aligned coaches, fellow business owners, and uplifting individuals. Community is my word for the year and I intend to fully embody it.
How about you? What’s an Out/In for you?
